<p>Welcome to the Westfjords of Iceland! This area is much less visited, as it is away from the ring road. Ísafjörður is the largest settlement in the West Fjords-one of the few areas with enough of a population to be a recognized town. </p><p>We will start with pickup at the Ísafjörður Cruise Port before beginning our adventure. </p><p>In town we will walk along the harbor and visit the Old Town area in Ísafjörður , to see some of the historical buildings and statues around town. </p><p>The Dynjandi Waterfall is known as the jewel of the Westfjords, make sure your camera is ready to capture its beauty. </p><p>Naustahvilft- aka &#34;Troll Seat&#34; is part of a flat top mountain, and the dent is where the legend says the troll sat. Trolls are a big part of Iceland mythology. Its a short but steep viewpoint for those feeling adventurous. </p><p>If time or in the event one of our main stops is closed, we may stop at Simsons Botanical Garden or Jonsgardur Botanical Garden, which are two botanical gardens with sculptures. Bunarfoss or Valgi Waterfall- some more of Icelands stunning waterfalls. Or the Wheel Sculpture- a tribute to the fishing history of the area. </p><p>If there is a change in weather during the tour, stops may be modified to keep the tour participants safe and comfortable. </p><p>Our tour duration is 6-7 hours before we will return you to the port. </p><p>Check availability now by choosing a date.</p><p>David the Guide started out as one guide wanting to share and give more.
