Siglufjordur is a small town on a narrow fjord on the north coast of Iceland, on the Trollaskagi peninsula. It is among the northernmost towns in Iceland. In the early 20th century Siglufjordur was the centre of Iceland's herring industry and one of the country's busiest fishing towns.
