Gardskagi is a low point of land at the northwestern tip of the Reykjanes peninsula, by the town of Gardur. There are two lighthouses on the point.

Gardskagi is on the Reykjanes peninsula. Gardur is a small town on the peninsula, not far from Keflavik and the international airport. The point is one of the westernmost places on the peninsula, where the flat, open land meets the sea.
The two lighthouses
There are two lighthouses on the point: an older, smaller one and a larger, taller one built later. The larger lighthouse is one of the taller lighthouses in Iceland. The other well-known lighthouse on the peninsula is Reykjanesviti, at the southwestern tip.
Birds and sea views
The point is a spot for birdwatching, with many seabirds and migrating birds passing through. It has wide views over the sea, and there is a small folk museum and cafe nearby. Because the land is flat and open to the sea, it is also used for watching sunsets and, in winter, the northern lights.
