Ofaerufoss is a waterfall in the Eldgja canyon in the southern highlands of Iceland. The waterfall is reached on a walking path from a parking area. Access is in summer only on highland F-roads and on a river-crossing path when water levels allow.

Eldgja is a large volcanic canyon in the Fjallabak area, part of the Katla volcanic system. The falls drop in stages into the gorge. A natural stone arch once spanned the falls, but it collapsed.
Reaching the falls
Ofaerufoss is reached on a walking path along the Eldgja canyon from a parking area. The path crosses a river, so it is a summer walk when water levels allow. Eldgja itself is reached on highland F-roads open in summer only and restricted to four-wheel-drive vehicles. It lies on the F208 route past Landmannalaugar.
