Gatklettur is a natural rock arch on the coast at Arnarstapi, on the southern side of the Snaefellsnes peninsula. The arch is a short walk from the parking area at Arnarstapi. Its name means the Hole Rock, after the arch worn through it by the sea.

Gatklettur lies within the Snaefellsjokull National Park area at the western end of the peninsula.
The coast and birdlife
Gatklettur stands among cliffs, blowholes, and basalt columns along the Arnarstapi shore. A coastal path runs along the cliffs past the arch. The path links the villages of Arnarstapi and Hellnar. Seabirds nest on the cliffs and stacks in summer.
